Sync notes on Mobile 6 phone

I have the following configuration:
Dell Laptop
XP Pro, fully service packed
Exchange 2003 system, fully service packed
Outlook 2007
Activesync 4.5
HTC 8900 Cell Phone running Windows Mobile 6.0
Zune software installed

When we try to sync the 8900 via a cable (to sync the notes, and we have a
lot - about 660 of them), the sync stops about 80 notes into the sync with
the following error
"The program [c:\program files\.....wcesmgr.exe /onconnect caused a problem
and is going to close. Would you like to save a dump file?"

Would appreciate any one's help with this matter.

My guess is that one of the notes is corrupt.

Suggestion would be to move all of the notes to the storage card and
backup and delete the notes in outlook, sync, then move a "chunk" (maybe
10 notes) back into the main memory mydocs folder using file explorer,
sync and repeat until you get the error which should help you locate the
offending note...

...keep good notes as you work to be able to id the offending chunk,
then break that one up until you get to the specific file.
