Searching calendar for events and the today screen and upcoming events.

I have an HP iPaq running Windows Mobile 6. I cannot find the option to
allow me to search the calendar for events or appointments. I presume that
there would be such a function, but if WM6 has one I'm stuffed if I can
find it. It was one of the first menu option on my now retired Palm Zire
(PalmOS). I naturally assumed that WM6 would have such a basic feature.

Also, when I turn the iPaq on the Today screen will show today's events,
and if there are any events happening soon, say tomorrow or in a couple of
days time then they will be displayed. But only if they have start/end
times. All day events aren't shown, except if they're happening today.

Is there any way to get those all day events to display in the Today
screen?

When I start Outlook, its "today" screen does show upcoming events,
whether they are all day or timed ones. You'd think that WM6 would do the
same.

Yeah, that's what happened.

Unfortunately it's not working for me. I did a search in the calendar for
some info. It returned no results for that search. Not sure what's going
on.

Thanks. Had a look. When I installed it it said that I had 14 days
remaining for my trial. I was fiddling with it. I exited it. When I opened
it again it said that I had 1 day remaining.

Also, there was a task set up saying this as well.

Anyway, I'm not sure that this is what I want. Seems to be a bit complex
for my needs. Plus it looked somewhat cluttered when I was looking at the
info in "Day View" I think it was called.

Suggest testing for some known information in pending calendar events...

then;

The calendar span is controlled by your activesync settings... not sure
what the current defaults are but old events are purged by default from
the ppc depending on this setting... events should still be in outlook
on the sync pc depending on the archive settings there.
