Does a pocket pc pda phone charge faster with the original A/C adapter or
with a USB cable for syncing and charging together?

I believe it charges faster with ac. Especially if you
have more than a couple of devices on the USB ports.

It should charge faster on A/c. Further, on some models now there are
settings for a fast or slow USB charge (depending on configuration, one may
be better than the other). Slow obviously is slower. Still, when travelling
I never take an a/c adapter, charging off USB seems to be fine for me -
never took too long.

Depends what cable/device you have.. some are usb only, and some allow a
charger to be plugged into it (the side of the USB synch cable connector) so
you can use the ac charger.. (so essentially, what you asked about/said
above is probably the usb synch cable that ALSO has a charger plug that you
can plug the ac charger/adapter into it to charge off ac while synching)....

Assuming you just want to know if USB charging is faster than AC chargers,
then AC is usually faster...
