Hi,
In the past some CABs I've been trying to install on a CE 5.0 have
failed. I've seen messages such as "The file xyz.cab is not a valid
Windows CE Setup file".
It seems that I get this message when I'm trying to install a compressed
CAB. Some Googling seems to show that 'wceload' on PocketPC devices
doesn't support compression of CABs whereas 'wceload' on Smartphone does.
It seems that the kernel I'm building with Platform Builder incorporates
a wceload (CAB File Installer/Uninstaller component) that doesn't
support compressed files. Is there anything I can do to add in support
for compressed CABs to the build?
