"unableto read the device settings from the Datastore" error WinCE

Hi-

When I select Target/Connectivity Options... from the CE 5.0 Platform
Builder menu, I get the error message: Platform Builder was unable to read
the device settings from the DataStore.

I have already tried deleting the Documents and Settings\tburnside\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\CoreCon\1.0 directory, but I still get
the error.

I've found a similar question on this forum from 24 Jan 2008, but there are
no responses. I'm hoping that someone here can help out.

Additional information: I previously had CE 6.0 installed, but removed it to
install 4.2 and 5.0. Both 4.2 and 5.0 are still installed.

Hi Todd,

Someone seems to have come across similar situation and got a fix for it.
Have you checked this?
