Hi, all.

I know that the size of a Tiny-kenel is about 0.8MB.
But, I'm wandering a MIN. size of a wince rom-image supported display. (
only tiny-kernel + graphic )

I'm using a Platform builder 4.1 and a x86 emulator BSP.

ASAP.

Put in the features you consider to meet your minimum requirements and find
out. It's really difficult to guess what your actual feature set
requirements are and there's not much point when it's so easy to simply
select those features and build it to get an ACTUAL value and not a guess.

Hi Steve!

Thank you so very much for replying to my message!!!

I tried to minimize the wince rom-image(display supported) with custom
configuration.

I selected a "Custom Device with shell and graphical user interface" tab and
a default sub-setting(No checking ).
After "build done!", the size of my-selection's rom-image is about 12MB.
This image size is too big for me.
--> How do I minimize this image size ?
--> Approximately, minimum size?
( Major feature :: kernel + graphic library + basic shell + Font )

I also tried a "Custom device without display" tab and a default sub-setting
,but it is not supported display.
Builded Emulator is Black screen only and NOT my solution.

Again, a million thank-yous for your reply.

Nam-Ho Ahn.

You minimize what you have by removing the items that you don't need, just
as you'd expect. Perhaps a keyboard is one of the items in that custom
configuration? If you don't need a keyboard, remove it. Or maybe Internet
Explorer is one of the items and you don't need that; remove it. There's no
analytical way of accomplishing this and certainly no way for someone who
knows nothing about your hardware requirements to tell you what to do...
