In WinCE 4.2, the help system had a close box in the upper right edge of the
screen in the toolbar. However, that has disappeared in WinCE 5.0. Is there a
way to enable the close box again ? peghelp does not appear to be available
in source or have any dialog resources. Can anyone help? Please guide as as
to which file can we look into. We can using PXA270 processor. Thanks.

I asked this a while ago. On a qvga screen, the button is not there. Other
than bringing up a SIP and hitting escape, I don't know of a way to get
peghelp to close.

On vga and larger there are two display modes. Something like showing the
menus or not showing them. (Its been a while). In one of the modes the 'X' is
in the toolbar.

As a work-around,

You can go into the shell (assuming you have the typically explorer shell)
and when an application button is created in the taskbar, see if it is for
PegHelp. If it is, then send that window a message to change its style so
that it has a close box. You'll end up with the typical dialog menu bar, but
its better than not having a close box.

Anoymous,
Thanks for the advice.
Can you elaborate more on what you meant by "explorer shell"? Which file or
files should we look into? For your info, our peghelp is in the start menu,
not at the task bar menu.
Your reply is greatly appreciated.

Thanks and regards
stonely
