There was already one audio codec chip on my board ,that had been driven as *WAV0*. i socket another BlueTooth USB Adapter,for communicate with my BlueTooth HeadSet.this BlueTooth Adapter been driven as *WAV1*,(bthscosnd.dll),and then i use below command to find & rounte audio stream & connect the HeadSet.as below, btagconfig -audio on i get, "Opening Bluetooth audio..."     - Using shared resource from multiple drivers/process Hi ALL, Problem: I have two wince drivers say driver1.dll, driver2.dll and only one DMA channel. I want to share one DMA channel for these two drivers. Since the drivers are running in two seperate processes and want to access the same DMA channel. How we can tell one driver to wait for some time if the DMA channel is already bieng used by other driver. Means how we can achieve lock/unlock the dma channel from two seperate processes.     - USB Function Vendor adn Product ID problem Hi, I have a problem with my USB Function Driver. I have a BSP cloned from the Mainstone III. I Use the USB Function without any changes, selection the RNDIS version. All have worked fine for some months, but now i made some change to my BSP and i get an error. When i Plug my USB cable into the PC i can see a device connect but its Vendor ID and its Product ID are both 0. I put this vendor and product ID into the register [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\USB\FunctionDrivers\RNDIS] During Runtime i can check the register and see this values. I would like to find the source code where Windows CE send Vendor and Product ID to the PC so i can find why it doesn't read any value (i suppose 0 is a default value). Anyone know where I can find this source code? Otherwise, what should i check in order to find my problem? Hi All, We are currently in discussion about a project where we need to support a GSM/GPRS modem which needs to support only data transfer.[no voice calls] I am reading the docs and got confused abt the TAPI and RIL inferfaces. As per my understanding, we need to use RIL inteface of CE and the Modem manufacturer will provide the "RIL driver[PDD]". The application developer can use the RIL interface to talk to the modem to send/receive data. Am i correct? Then what is TAPI interface? Is it only for telephone and not for cell phone?     - TSP - DEVCFG Structure Hello everyone, I have done a Telephony Service Provider to use our OEM modem. I have based my code on the sample found in "public\common\oak\drivers\samptspi\" . This sample works well except it hasn't the extra init strings under the call option dialog. I have modified the resource file to add it to the dialog. Now, the problem I have is that I cannot get a DEVCFG structure that is working with it. I am really confused because it seems that it has several structures available. I thought we could change the structure so it has a variable for stocking the extra string but if I do so, I got errors in TSPI_lineGetDevConfig() and TSPI_lineSetDevConfig(). The size doesnt match the received in paramaters. Do you have information about this structure and how I should handle it? What do I have to do so TSPI_lineGetDevConfig() and TSPI_lineSetDevConfig() receiced my newly defined DEVCFG structure in parameters? I can suspend and then resume by activating wakeup interrupt first time, but when I try to suspend/resume second time , the system hangs. Can any one help in this situation? Current connection to the divice dedicated for ths is an USB Functional RNDIS, but also UART could be used. This comes from the idea that I don't want to fix the same bug between different BSPs source trees.     - SanDisk Pen drives Failing Hi All, We have developed a USB Host Controller driver and the issue what we have seen with this is that Sandisk pendrive's are failing. Observations are initailly one or two Tx and Rx bulk request are success after that in the Rx path we get one Stall from the device and after this device respond's continously with NAK timout's in the Rx path and all Tx packets are success. What may be the reason for this, Is this a problem with Microsoft Mass storage or SCSI driver or is there some thing different with SanDisk pendrives, for which host controller need to provide some additional support. Other than SanDisk we have tested with 5 other models like Transcend, PNY, Sony and all with all these devices it works well. We are using WinCE 6.0. Please help me on this.     - NDIS errors during boot of Debug build I'm struggling with trying to get a Debug image of a CE5.0 OS to start up correctly. I'm not the OEM, but I do have the BSP and source. Would greatly appreciate any thoughts, as so far I'm not getting anywhere! The problem seems to occur when device.exe loads the network driver lan91c111.dll. I get various ndis messages (see below) in the debugger, and then it all dies. I can't find the source code that is generating the messages - presumably it is in some ndis layer I don't have source for. But the Release build of the same OS (with KITL enabled) starts up fine. Interestingly, as soon as it loads lan91c111.dll, it seems to unload it again. I don't understand why. Maybe it is failing too, but handling things a bit better? So far I've tried various things like disabling ethernet sharing, and turning of KITL, but without success. I have wodered whether the serial debug output is itself giving me problems (it is enabled in my Debug build) but I can't find a way of turning it off. As I said, I can't find the code that is generaring the NDIS error messages, so I can't debug through it. Debug output attached below, any thoughts much appreciated. I'm traslating my application from english to other countries languages that uses non-standard latin alphabet, as greek, russian, arabic, hebrew.. Now I'm studying then arabic (farsi) case. If I open WordPad and open a arabic text file, for all the standard CE fonts (arial, courier new, tahoma, verdana, tnr..) I get the correct characters if I use the bold style, and only squares if I use the regular style. Whatching at the .ttf files, I noticed that the bold one is always at least double in Kb space than the regular one, this, I mean, why the bold .ttf contains more characters (ex. arabic) than the regular one. The next step I've performed was take the Windows XP arial, courier new, tahoma fonts .ttf files and copy them into the WinCE device: opening the same wordpad file I get the correct characters also with the regular style. The .ttf are very big, more than the bold CE ones. So, the first conclusion is that WindowsCE normal style fonts don't contains all the charset for non-latin languages, and the bold style yes. What I ask is: can I _legally_ include Windows XP fonts in a Windows CE image? Or is there any site where I can find complete fonts for all the international languages similar to the tahoma/arial/courier font styles I can include freely (or paying once for royalties) in my CE image?     - Issue to use constant alpha values for overlay surface Hi, My driver has been plublishing the DOVERLAYDDOVERLAYCAPS_ALPHACONSTANT capability in its dwOverlayCaps (in BuildHalInfo). However, while having modified the Mosquito sample applicaiton to specify the constant alpha value using the flag DDOVER_ALPHACONSTOVERRIDE, the UpdateOverlay returns E_INVALIDARG.     - Mainstone Linking Error Hi, As part of developing USB Serial Download implementation I copied Mainstone BSP USBFN code to our BSP. As preliminary test we copied all the Mainstone Header files to our BSP to remove all the errors throw by VS2005.This is to check whether the framework compiles and links with out any errors.     - Regarding the Bluetooth serial port profile Hi all, I am working on windows Embedded CE 6.0 bluetooth serial port profile. Using the virtual serial port (Port Emulator Option) I am trying to communicate with the other devices. I have included all the profiles supported by the windows ce bluetooth stack.I have two USB bluetooth dongle, one i have inserted in the PC and the other i have inserted in the WINCE device. When i run the service discovery protocol in the PC side it is not showing the Serial port profile. But when i connect window mobile device i am able to see this SSP. Since windows CE and windows mobile are using the same protocol stack, what would be the issue? Am i missing any sysgen settings etc? Using the Sample application SCA.exe i tryed to connect with the PC. I am able to establish the connection when i configured our CE device as client because the PC side bluetooth stack is publishing the SSP. but for the case of server i am not able to connect because the PC does't show the SSP profile of the CE device. I am sure the PC side is perfect because i am able to see the other mobile devices SPP while performing the device descovery.     - Activesync connectivity issue at device bootup Hi there, I am working Windows CE 5.0 target. I am using USB cable for connecting to activesync. And I have installed activesync version 4.5. I understand on Windows CE 5.0, activesync connects over USB serial profile. Hi,

I use file replication for persistent storage under CE6. Is there a
mechanism to invalidate the replicated files in order to go back to
the original image state? I am looking for something, which is similar
to erasing the hive based registry with the kernel ioctl
IOCTL_HAL_GET_HIVE_CLEAN_FLAG. Can someone tell me how to do this
without erasing the entire FFS (flash file system)?
