I want to use command prompt and use the type command from a CEPC built
image. I found that the cmd and type command were not available. Can u let me
know what all needs to be included?

You'll need to add the Command Processor (from Core OS , Shell section of
catalog) to get the command shell. I don't know whether the type command is
included there or not.

I believe that type is included within cmd.exe, not as a separate exe.
Anyway once you include cmd.exe you will have type available within cmd.exe.

Bruce is correct - type is built into cmd.exe itself. I think if you type
'help' on the cmd.exe prompt you'll get a complete list of built in
commands.
