Why does the wince4.2 ceplayer delay several seconds before playing wmv files?

Hello all:

My OS is wince4.2. I use ceplayer to show WMV files on my device
about S3C2440. The WMV

file is stored in the nandflash.
After select and open a wmv file by ceplayer, it will delay several
seconds before ceplayer begin play the wmv file.
So, I wanna to know why does ceplayer delay? Pls give me some
advices.

Like on the desktop, Media Player is probably caching enough of the file to
allow it to play without skips or hesitations.

Can I do anything to allow ceplayer not to delay several seconds before
starting to play wmv file.
