why I can't install program on device by activesync?

I want to install some program on pocket pc by activesync. but there
exists some problem.
One is that when I excute Add/Remove Programs in ActiveSync tools, this
program is waiting for ever. The other is that this program can
excute, but when installing program,it would show" The mobile device is
no longer connected. please connect the device and run Application
Manager again. On device, It shows that there is a problem on
rapiclnt.exe, please report these to microsoft.
Form debug info , The rapiclnt.exe has aborted. who can help me?

We don't have enough information to report anything to a development team.
Do you want to mention, for example, what *version* of ActiveSync you are
using, what connection method your are using, what *version* of Windows CE,
etc.?

Please tell us what you mean by "this program". ActiveSync does not display
the list of already-installed and available to install programs?

So, this is an intermittant problem that only shows up with your custom
device? Have you tried this with a Windows Mobile device? Based on the
fact that it's intermittent, I'd be sure, if I were you, that you don't have
some sort of a hardware problem with the USB port, serial port or whatever
port you're using to establish the AS connection. You should also see what
else in ActiveSync fails, if anything. Can you browse the device filesystem
from the desktop using ActiveSync? Can you sync with Outlook items?

Finally, build a DEBUG build of the OS and give us the debug messages that
occur during the ActiveSync session...

Thanks for your advice. The version of Activesync I used is 4.2. I
use usb serial to connect device. The version of wince i used is mobile
5=2E0. I Can browse the device filesystem
from the desktop using ActiveSync,I Can sync with Outlook items. It
only can not install program on device by activesync.
One is that when I excute Add/Remove Programs in ActiveSync tools,

program is waiting for ever. This program means Add/Remove Programs
in ActiveSync tools.

So this device has which, a serial or a USB port? How are you using Windows
Mobile 5? Are you the device OEM for a Windows Mobile device? Do you mean
Windows CE 5?

That's where the failure appeared, but that's not enough information to see
what's happening when it fails. Show all messages from the time AS was
connected till the error occurred.
