Hi All,

I got an wireless problem.
In web-pad device, I have the notification of Wireless
Lan Card. Here are my debug messages:
==============================================
2031 PID:ef6b1002 TID:ef757ea2 PS2_AT_00000409
2031 PID:ef6b1002 TID:ef757ea2 PS2_AT_00000409
2596 PID:f757ed2 TID:ef6baede NDISPWR:: Found adapter
[VMINI1]
6508 PID:f757ed2 TID:2f614602 NDISPWR:: BIND notification
for adapter [Cisco1]
======================================================
But if I use a Thin Client device, I do not have the
notification. The WLAN dialog does not show, either.
I found that the ethman.dll was running. But the dialog
did not show.
Which module call the ethman.dll?

Thanks.

You need to add "Wireless LAN" module.
In the platform builder catalog,

Under "Communication Services and Networking"
Then, "Networking - Local Area Network (LAN)
Then, "Wireless LAN (802.11) - Automatic Configuration
and 802.1x"
This module will show "SYSGEN_ETH_80211" if you put the
mouse cursor over this.

Hi,

I did add that modules!!
This part of my xxxSetEnv.bat
=========================================
.......................
set SYSGEN_IE_JSCRIPT=1
set SYSGEN_ETHERNET=1
set SYSGEN_ETH_80211=1
......................
=========================================
The problem is I use the same wireless config in two
different device type (Web-pad and ThinClient).
The Webpad device has the notification from NDISPWR and
ETHMAN. But the Thin Client device does not receive any
notification from NDISPWR and ETHMAN.
The only way to find the problem is to build a Thin
Client.

Thanks

Hi,

My "Interface driver" works fine.
The Cisco PCM-340 works fine by using Cisco ACU tool.
I do not know why the WLAN UI was removed in ThinClient
device(PB4.2).
I have to use the WLAN cards which was not CISCO, so I
need the WLAN UI.

Thanks

The WLAN UI is in 4.2 public\COMMON\oak\drivers\netui\ look at wzc*.*
files.
