I think you are confused on the terminology here. "Native Wi-Fi" is a
technology where the electronics is vvery simplistic and cheap, basicly
little more than the radio, and all the processing of the protocols and
encryptions etc... are done in the host CPU. This was not used much even on
the desktop systems, and had performace problems on the lower powered
embedded processors so it is not supported on Windows CE anymore. Wi-Fi
adapters with a built-in protocol engine of some sort, by far the most
common type, are still supported.
