Hi,

I've made a boot floppy disk and set NET_IRQ and NET_IOBASE to 0 because i
have a
3Com 3C920 Integrated Fast Ethernet Controller (3C905C - TX Compatible).
I've set the services for active named connection to ethernet and rebooted
the CECP with the boot
floppy but i still can't see my CECP in the available devices list.

Does anyone know what i'm doing wrong?

Thanks,
An

Use a supported NIC controller - AFAIK that one isn't on the list.

My experience has been that 3c509 -TX, 3c905B - TXNM, do not work. I use a
3c905CX-TXM.

Just attach a serial cable to COM1: on your CEPC. At the other side set your
terminal software to 38400-8-N-1. In that case you will get some debug
output from eboot.bin. That last message you should see is a continous
message about sending a BOOTME packet to 255.255.255.255. If this don't
appear check the messages about some errors, where it's mostly something
about wrong IO, IRQ settings or just a netcard which is not supported by
eboot.bin.

Best regards,
