Hi Folks,

I am trying to record voice from the mic in windows ce 5.0 using audio APIs
but I am unable to do so .I have conencted my headset to the wavein/ waveout
of the board .The board has audio drivers as I can play .wav files .

I even tried using an event mechanism instead of callback funciton but in
vain

I even tried sample record application given in wnce500.

Could some please shed some light on this as I am able to create a .wav file
after recording but its empty.

Thanks in Advance

Use this to ask the question:
http://guruce.com/blogpost/howtoaskquestionsonnewsgroups

it will make the process a lot faster.

You are missing too much info to know what you have (Are you incharge
of the board, or just writing an application to a board you have,
etc.)

Check out : C:\WINCE600\PUBLIC\COMMON\SDK\SAMPLES\AUDIO
There are 2 small sample programs there for REC & PLAY.

Greetings,
Rob.

I still think you should post a more complete question, because it
might be that your mic is not configured to work at hardware level.
