Security/privacy problem in hive registry files

Hi,

I found that the hive registry files( user.hv,default.hv,boot.hv) contain
the copy of
environment of my DEVELOPMENT WORKSTATION( all SET zzz=xxx ).
One of the env. vars is my logon name, which I don't want to be published on
the millions of the devices we are going to sell :)

I traced the problem and found that the regcomp utility heavy depends on the
workstation env. settings.
