Hi,

I am attempting to work with this emulator on platform builder 5.0
I followed the procedure just as using x86 emulator. But when I
attach device, a error windows says "Your virtual machine may not have
enough RAM allocated". But in the "target device connectivity options" I am
using 128MB ram memory!!

It could not run from Platform Builder 5.0, is it?

But how to use it from Visual Studio 2005?

Best regards,
Jack Zhao

Look for a blog from mikehall in the next few days, that'll have
instructions on how to download an image into the DeviceEmulator.

To use the image in Visual Studio, follow the instructions in the BSP's
readme, to roll an SDK from PB and install it in VS.

I use it following the instructions in the BSP's readme.
Result: When running in VS2005, the emulator window popup, but there's
nothing display in it, just a black window!
Error Information: Cannot connect to device. Error: 0x800706ba

Try configuring the emulator from VS 2005's Tools/Options dialog, to turn on
the console window for serial port 1, in the Peripherals tab. That will let
you see the Windows CE kernel's debug output, and might lead us to some
understanding of what went wrong.
