Private source code

hi all,

it is illegal to change the private code of windows ce 6.0 and publishing an
article regarding the changes for solving an device specfic issue? Please let
me know.

So, you're asking a bunch of programmers for legal advice?! Publishing
*any* of the source code is generally a violation of the license agreement,
let alone the private source code. Microsoft might grant you a special
dispensation, if the value of the article seemed high to them, I suppose.
You'd have to contact them, however, to see what they would be willing to
allow and consult a real attorney.

You need to read the license agreement that comes with the source code.
Asking for legal advise from a bunch of techies in a public newsgroups isn't
a very reliable method of getting a correct answer.
