Hello All:

I can't seem to find the download for the Platform Builder for Windows CE
5.0 evaluation. Everything is pointing me to the 6.0 version, but I need the
5.0 version. Does anyone know where to find this?

Alternatively, is there a resource that lists the size of each of the
components available in Windows CE 5.0? I'm trying to get an estimate of how
large my OS image will be with various components included.

Thanks, Robert

It's pretty well hidden, but a search on www.microsoft.com/downloads finds
this page:

I think that trying to add things up size-wise is completely hopeless. I
don't find the estimates stored in the catalog files to be all that close to
actual sizes. I think you're going to have to build the OS you want to know
how big it's going to be...

Once 6.0 was released, the 5.0 eval links seem to have dried up. The only
place I know of to get them is from a distributor (usually a royal pain
since you're not buying) or from the old pile of conference DVDs in the
corner of the office.

it).
