    - DirectDraw problem with wince 6.0 (LX800) Hi , I had build a wince 6.00 runtime for a Geode LX800 with DirectDraw support ! So far all look like well ! But I couln't launch the DDX programms for testing DDraw ! Here the debug messages : WPCSHELL: SHRecognizeGesture found WM_LBUTTONUP, dropping out of loop... DirectDraw Debug Runtime in use. AddToProcessInputLocaleTable: Added process to ProcessInputLocale table, hProcess = 0x01A6000A ERROR: C:\ymzki\private\winceos\COREOS\gwe\winmgr\wmbase\.\wbase.cpp line 1325: !bFound, etc. GWES Hook fails device creation. DirectDrawCreate fails. DDEX2: DirectDrawCreate FAILED DeleteFromProcessInputLocaleTable: Deleted process from ProcessInputLocale table, hProcess: 0x01A6000A anybody have an idea ? In wince 5.00 ddraw works fine with the Geode LX800 BTW: According the readme.txt the driver supports Direct Draw Display Driver Release Notes Version 1.01.03 Thanks in advance !     - PB catalogue viewer doesn't know how to deal with #include in your PB scans .bib files to determine if the requirements are fulfilled for a catalogue entry to get checked to show that it is included (through <Module>xxxx</Module> entries in your catalogue entry). In our case we were seeing that PB failed to determine that the module was included and we got an X mark in front of our catalogue entry. We found out this was caused by including the entries for the modules through a #include file in our project .bib file. If we included the contents of that include file in our .bib PB would happily check our catalogue entry.     - How to assign a Mouted Volume Name Hi, I am running WinCE 5.0 with a NAND flash which have 2 partition for user to use. And now I just want to name them as the 2 partitions as "Apple" and "Orange" However, I don't know how should I set the registry. If I using the following registry, I will only get the name: "Apple" and "Apple2" by default which same as the help file say: "Folder" Indicates the base name to use when a volume is mounted on this store. Default value is "LOC_STORE_DEFAULT_FOLDER". If the requested name is already in use, then a number is concatenated to the base name and increased each time. So is there any API I can rename the partition's folder name? Or there are some registry setting I can make use of?     - Hide my own files Hi, I need to hide my customized gina files away from the user. Basically, the gina file resides in the \windows folder. I can write file system filter to hide files in the external storage device but not the persistant store. How can I go about hiding the files ?     - WinCE 6.0 questions Hello to all of you I have several questions about Windows CE 6.0. So if you would know the answer, please help. 1. In WinCE 5.0, a dll file loaded into memory needs 64 kB, even if it is smaller. So if I need to load more small dlls, it consumes too much virtual memory space. For example, I have I2C driver and drivers for keyboard and display attached to this BUS. If I add the keyboard driver, I2C driver must be added automaticaly. It can by done by setting some catalog item values, it's easy. But are there any other way? If I try to remove I2C driver, it's not naturally possible. IDE will say to remove (own, i.e. I2C driver) value, which is set by other dependent items. But I think it would be better to display the list of names of all dependent items, which this value set. After investigating I found that the InterruptInitialize() in the driver failed with code 87.     - SDIO CCCR register version bug. Hi, I'm developing a SDIO card driver for wince5, I face a problem about the SDIO CCCR spec version. the CCCR spec version of our SDIO card is 1.2. But in SDBUS driver, it only read the power control register when the CCCR spec version is 1.1.( in shared code Sddevice.cpp, line 1809, and sdhceventhandlers.cpp line 553). So in our case, it won't read the power control register and the card initialization will fail. I believe this is a bug in windows CE driver. I modify that two line and my card can work correctly. Here my doubt is that whether MS have a offical fix for this issue, because I'm afraid if the bug exist in the commerical product, then my SDIO card won't work.     - 5.0 - adding driver/file prevents boot When I add certain files to the OS image the image will no longer boot. For example when I add my Notification LED driver the kernel stops booting at the point of listing memory section. I remove the NLED driver and rebuild and deploy, and it boots fine. It boots fine with serial and ethernet drivers. If I only select the NLED driver, and not the serial or Ethernet the kernel will stop at the same place. Why wouldn't it stop with the Ethernet or Serial drivers? A file is a file is a file right? I need to be clear, it halts at kernel initialization with this additional file. Without it the kernel boot fine without error. It seems the NK.bin image is confused somehow. Any ideas?     - CE 6.0 Web Server SSL Hi All I am trying to re-configure our already fully working CE 6.0 website to use SSL/HTTPS I have retrieved an advanced certificate from our local Win2003 server certificate authority and installed it on our CE device using the control panel as suggested in "How to Set Up a Server Certificate for a Windows Embedded CE Web Server" on msdn2. I also imported the keyfile (entered the password) with no apparent problems. I changed the registry settings in HKLM\COMM\HTTPD\SSL using remote registry and restarted the web server with the "services" app but the https URL does not work ("Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage") but the original http URL still works OK. Is there anything else I need to do to configure this? I assume that the "CertificateSubject" key is a string whose value should be the friendly name of the server certificate I installed? How do I install the server certificate and keyfile as part of the CE image, rather than using Control Panel on the device (our device will run in kiosk mode) ?     - Dynamic display resolution change in CE 6.0 I am working to develop a display driver that can take advantage of the Windows CE 6.0 support for changing the screen resolution dynamically. It seems there is very little documentation on this feature, other than the fact that it exists. What is the process for communicating a dynamic resolution change to the graphics system? Is there some API call needed? I noticed in the sample RageXL driver a reference to using the DrvDisablePDEV function to delete the primary surface in order to create a new primary surface with the new display resolution. But does the display driver initiate this process directly by calling DrvDisablePDEV? Or is there some other way that this is done? I assume it is unsafe to delete the primary surface while the graphics system may be using references to it, so I want to understand the correct procedure for accomplishing this resolution change. The OOM UI does not response to touch.

I added debug message for touch down and up in PDD. And also i added debug
message for touch MDD receiving point from PDD. This is used to check the
point and touch flags, such as down, valid, ... etc.

I could see those debug messages and they are correct, point value and touch
flags are all correct.

But the OOM UI does not response to touch event.

I used USB keyboard and the OOM UI could response to keyboard.
I could use keyboard to select which applications to terminate.

Why the OOM UI does not response to touch?
