Hi
I have bought WinCE 6.0 Eval dvd, installed it in Windows Vista(RC1)
platform. I am able to compile and produce the rough kernel image without any
hustles, but when trying to connect to emulator for debugging the Target >
Connectivity Options, never opens.
Due to this i am unable to Attach Device(Emulator)[i think by default
Transport is configured to NONE].

Can somebody help me an workaround this.

take a back up of the files in this directory : C:\Documents and
Settings\<user name>j\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\CoreCon\1.0
then delete those files, open the PB now try it, have u installed wince 5.0
and uninstalled it?

No its a fresh installation. I have tried this solution already...........but
didnt work.....In XP its working fine....For me the issue is with PB6 over
Windows Vista.

We are planning on releasing an update for PB 6.00 that will support Vista
soon. For this particular problem, try launch VS elevated (i.e. right-click
the VS icon and selecting "run as administrator") and see if that helps.

Dear all,
I have some problems when configuring the connectivity option.
The development environment is "Visual Studio 2005" and "CE 6.0
Beta".
The following is my configuration:

Target Device : my own name.
Download : Device Emulator (DMA)
Transport : Device Emulator (DMA)
Debugger : KdStub

When i configure the settings of download, it shows some error
message like "Internal Error,Release some resource, and try
again, error
code : 0x80004003". I don't know what happen and solve.

Besides, in CE 5.0, i can put my own file into release
directory. Then, i
can see my file in the emulator. I can find this file easily.
However, in CE
6.0, i also put my own file in RelDir. I can not find it in
the Device
Emulator. Maybe, it needs to setup some information in CE 6.0.
Then, i
can see my own file.

Any suggestions are appreciated.
Best
Regards
