The driver should interact with the system in the same way as the previous
audio architecture. It's just that this one is cleaner, and doesn't require
the addition of a separate DirectSound component. Applications etc will
interact with it in the same way.
There is a sample UAM driver in the Wavedev directory in the
public\common\oak\drivers directory.
