Hi,

I'm looking for a driver for a USB-to-Serial(RS232) adapter for
Windows CE 4.2.
Since TietoEnator seems to no longer provide such drivers, does
anybody know another person or company who can help?

best regards,
Matthias Kaiser.

There is no official USB class definition for such a device and therefore
every adapter chip will need it's own specific driver.

Inside Out Networks(now owned by DIGI) builds USB to
Serial converters with CE drivers in their Edgeport
line. Not cheap though.
You might also try creating your own with the the CE
driver creator from Jungo
http://www.jungo.com/win_ce.html

Hi,
Currently I'm developing a driver for FTDI 245BM ( not the
same as FTDI 232 but I guess differences aren't big )
I have right now working prototype with read write
functions on which I do speed test ( I require them to see
if the chip can handle out demands ) and looks nice
( down transfer about 840 kbyte/s up transfer 940kbyte/s )
I test everything on PocketPC 2003 and building on PB 4.1
with support for ARM processor.
If you intressted please contact me
