Hi,

Can anyone explain me the DirectX concepts in Wince. Are the following
things are supported in Wince 6.0.

â?¢ DirectDraw...........Yes/No
â?¢ Direct3D...............Yes/No
â?¢ DirectPlay------------Yes/No
â?¢ DirectInput------------Yes/No
â?¢ DirectSound------------Yes/No

Is direcshow also a part of Directx? Is it supported on Wince 6.0

DirectDraw is supported, as is the Mobile version of D3D. The others, no
(as far as I know).

DShow is supported, not sure that you'd consider it a part of DirectX
though.

DirectDraw, yes (some very minor differences with desktop implementation)
Direct3D, yes (Direct3D Mobile - fixed function only & supports fixed point
data)
DirectPlay, no
DirectInput, no
DirectSound, no
DirectShow, yes
