Win CE Device not appearing in "My Network Places"

Hi

I have a Headless device running Windows CE .NET 4.2. From
a PC I can ping this device and using \\DeviceName I can
access its shared folders. But It does not appear in "My
Network Places" on PC.
What needs to be done so that it appears in "My Network
Places" like normal desktops machines.

I'm assuming here that you have the SMB server added into the image.
I've found that "Network neighborhood can take upwards of an hour to show
other systems it finds even after you have connected to them directly. This
happens on just desktop versions of the OS so it is no surprise that you
don't immediately see a CE device. I have no idea what causes the delay. Try
waiting for a while. Sometimes forcing a connection in both directions seems
to get it right.

Adding on to my previous query:

SMB Server is there in the OS image and it is working fine
except for the problem that the device is not appearing
in "My Network Places" though using "Find Computer" from
desktop Windows Explorer I can find the device and it
shows that it is part of "Workgroup".

Am I missing some component / configuration that actually
can bring the device in the "My network places"?
