Hello all,
With the Flash File System mounted as root the Remote Tools and the
Win CE 6.0 CETK refuse to connect. The files cetlstub, tlcesrv and
cemgrc are copied to \Windows folder on the device but the error
message:
"Platform Manager was unable to copy the clientside package to the
device. Check your device-side files folder to make sure there is
adequate space and no open files" appears and no connection can be
started.
When the Flash File System is not mounted as root the Remote Tools and
the CETK work perfectly.
In both cases we use Active Sync for the Transport and the Startup
Server.
In both cases Active Sync is working and files can be accessed via the
Explorer.
In both cases there is enough space in the memory and no files are
open.
We change the following vars in the <projectName>.bat file:
In this case FFS is mounted as root, CETK and Remote Tools don't work:
set SYSGEN_FSREPLXFILT=3D1
set PRJ_ENABLE_FSEXTREPL=3D1
set PRJ_ENABLE_FSMOUNTASROOT=3D1
In this case FFS is not mounted as root, CETK and Remote Tools can
connect:
set SYSGEN_FSREPLXFILT=3D
set PRJ_ENABLE_FSEXTREPL=3D
set PRJ_ENABLE_FSMOUNTASROOT=3D
Any ideas with mountaing the FFS as root prevents the CETK and the
Remote Tools from starting?
