Hi,
I copied nk.bin to "c: into my CEPC's hard drive. The HD is FAT32. But when
I use loadcepc for local booting, I get an error, saying

"nk.bin: Error opening file - no such file or directory"

My CEPC has Windows 2000 installed on it. Somewhere I read that disk should
not have NTFS but FAT32. FAT32 is what I have.

I will appreciate any help.

Regards,
Parhar

I got it. The problem was to

1. Reformat the harddisk to FAT16.
2. Boot ce once again from CEPC boot disk (Use Ethernet booting option).
3. Copy nk.bin from "\Release" to "\Hard Disk". After copying, you should
have nk.bin in c:\ drive.
4. Change Autoexec.bat
- For local boot option: modify filename from "nk.bin" to "c:\nk.bin".
5. Reboot again using CEPC bootdisk and select Local boot option. Connect
null modem cable from development machines to COM1 on target. You will get
lots of debug messages. Hopefully CEPC will boot in a few seconds.....

Note:
It is possible to make harddisk bootable and run autoexec.bat without using
any floopy disk.

Regards,
Parhar

Hello!
I tried to use the same PC as development workstation and target device.
I built the image and then copied it into my second disk drive (E).
I modified autoexec E:\nk.bin but there is a message that the file can't be
opened.
Could you help me?
Thanks

Hi Daniele,

Make sure that your second hardisk (E:) is formatted as FAT16 partition.
Make it if its not and copy the nk.bin again.
