Can someone point me to the article describing what is needed to enabling
Activesync on a platform?

I am trying to do this on geode I have added Platform Manager->Base Engine ,
Platform Manager->Transports->Activesync, and Applications â?? End
User->Activesync. When I bring up my system I see repllog.exe in the windows
directory but when I execute it I get the message â??Can not connect to PC. No
program Memory available. Stop some programsâ?¦â?¦â?¦â?¦.â??. I know Iâ??m missing
something, but what?

I assume that you have a driver for the communication hardware and the it
works. What is that hardware? Serial, USB...

You need to:

a. In the control panel, select Network and Dialup Connections. Create
a connectoid,
b. Back in control panel select PC Connection and change to your
connectoid
c. On the PC in ActiveSync select File/Get Connected, then run
\Windows\repllog on the device. ActiveSync should now connect.

I've experienced my first ActiveSync connection recently in my WCE image.
My goal is to install a program like Adobe Acrobat in it, but when the
connection was established, it couldn't install because and I quote "THERE
ARE NO DEVICE-COMPATIBLE PROGRAMS AVAILABLE".

Why it wouldn't be compatible with my device?
My machine consist of a VIA EDEN 700MHz (x86 compatible).
I've just included in my Image
TRANSPORT / ACTIVE SYNC
APPLICATIONS - END USER / ACTIVE SYNC / FILE SYNC
Is there any other configuration to do?

If you got any clue please enlight me!

It may be in what you didn't say in your post. You did not say that the app
was a Windows CE x86 app, is it?

Thank you for your response.

I believe I the communications hardware is setup correctly since I am using
the serial port in one of the apps that I have loaded. But I do not have the
"Network and Dialup Connections" menu item available. I bult this image using
the "Industrial Controller" selection as a starting point. What do I need to
add?

Thank You,
Hari

Well, this issue came to my mind, but I've assumed it supports x86 until
proven the opposite.
But then another person questioning that, made me think is x86 so uncommon
platform for WCE?
Is the majority based on StrongARM & SH?

Because I saw the requirements for Acrobat and it don't especify the
processor.
Adobe Reader for Pocket PC version 2.0 system requirements
Windows
Handheld: Pocket PC 2002 or Windows Mobile 2003 (Update 2)
Microsoft Windows 2000 (all versions), or Windows XP (Home or Professional)
64MB of RAM or greater
16MB of hard-disk space
Microsoft ActiveSync 3.5 or later

Well your CAP does not meet those requirements. It is not any of the
following:

Well your CEPC does not meet the requirements. It is none of the following:

> Handheld: Pocket PC 2002 or Windows Mobile 2003 (Update 2)

Which are not x86

> Microsoft Windows 2000 (all versions), or Windows XP (Home or
Professional)

Which are not Windows CE, but are x86.
