This morning I got a message as I was shuting down about compressing files to
save space. I mistakenly clicked "Yes". When I restarted later all of the
emails in my Inbox were gone. I can't find them now. Any suggestions on
where to look/how to get them back?

Thanks in advance.

Are you refering to Outlook, or Outlook Express?

Wrong newsgroup. You're actually using Outlook Express and your deleted
folders are in the Windows Recycle Bin.
