I am trying to configure gmail in outlook2002 and I have tried each and every
option available, given in google search.

I am getting one error i.e " unable to sent test mail".
pop3 port 995 and checked the option.
smtp port 465 and checked the option.

server information:
incoming mail server: pop.gmail.com
outgoing mail server: smtp.gmail.com

go to more settings:
in
outgoing server tab:
checked the option "outgoing server requires same authentication" and
checked
use same settings as my incoming mail server
in
connection tab:
enabled: connect internet using third party.

in advanced:

pop3 port 995 and checked the option. and checked the option "this server
requires SSL"
smtp port 465 and checked the option.
and checked the option "this server requires SSL"

At last I tried with each and every comination available. But I couldn't
resolve only one error i.e "Test email"

Please provide the solution for this

This is an known issue with Outlook 2002. You need to install Service Pack 3
for Office 2002.
