can't open pdf attachments or pdf from search engines

For some reason I cannot now open any attachment or file on search engines
ending with .pdf A box flashes up saying 'open' or 'save' but while it seems
to be downloading the attachment or file, it doesn't appear on screen and
that box simply keeps flashing back up. What do I need to do to be able to
download files or attachments ending in .pdf I don't recall this probelm
until recently.

Perhaps your pdf files are damaged or something. You may try Advanced
PDF Repair at http://www.datanumen.com/apdfr/ This tool is rather
useful in salvaging damaged PDF documents. Hope this helps.
