    - silent setup of Outlook 2000 Hi, I am working on imaging machines with ghost for use in a classroom environment. The product I am training on requires an outlook profile to be configured prior to its install. I have managed to use Ghost to get the machine configured and I have a script which will then configure the product, but I am struggling to automate the Outlook setup. Currently, if I open Outlook after imaging, I get the standard wizard interface to allow me to create my profile, (specify my exchange server etc etc) and finally set Outlook as the default client. I created accounts, tested them â?? they can send and receive mail. Now I need to configure Outlook the next way: 1. I created 2 pst files â?? 1 file to 1 account. How can I configure Outlook to place received mail from 'account 1' to 'personal folder 1.pst', and from 'account 2' to 'personal folder 2.pst'. 2.     - Removing folder reference to nonexistent PST file. In Outlook 2003, I previously created and used a secondary PST file for a temporary purpose. I wanted to simply "Close" that temporary use PST file. However, the file is still listed in the list of folders, and would not respond to the "Close Data File" command. Deleting the secondary PST file had no effect, and deleting the *.NK2 file had no effect. The old secondary file is still listed, but there is no real PST file to open, so requests to "Close" or "Remove" only return error messages. The secondary datafile is no longer listed in the "Data File Management" dialog box. ScanPST.exe has no effect. Do I have to do something with the primary PST file, and/or the profile? I tried to reinstall Outlook 2007, but it seemd as if it never really took away all the old, but I am not sure. With reinstallation of Outlook 2007, I encountered problems with registration keys: as if I was not allowed to install this problem. I am the administrator so that should not be any problem. Also tried to change the registration key to full control by administrator, but then the problem was shifted to another registration key. There was an option to neglect, and so I did. But then, another problem was there. As I would like to have outlook synchronizing to the office Exchange Server 2003 at my work (fully patched as far as I know), I filled in for this purpose. But: * Problem: Cannot connect to the exchange server using HTTPS (had no problems with old laptop running XP). However, finding my mail box/username for other mailaccounts (http or Imap) - no problem; completing the Mail setup for those - no problem. But when exchange server connections are filled in as account - PROBLEMS Symptoms: When I open up Outlook, I get prompted for username/pwd (so far so good), but that's it! Either Outlook times out without ever opening up or I get error messages that Outlook can't connect to server, or cannot start Outlook, cannot open the outlook view, and telling me that I am not allowed for actions like this. Though I am administrator of my own computer. Additional Info: (i) Accessing the exchange server via Outlook Web â?? no problem; (ii) Accessing the exchange server via VPN - no problem; (iii) Have tried to copy all settings from my XP laptop â?? it just bnever runs for the connection with the exchange server also I have the service pack 1 installed recently.     - Outlook 2003 On Friday I had a new motherboard and hard drive installed on my DELL XPS 600 - I installed my Office 2003 Basic disk that came with the computer when I purcahsed same three years ago.     - Outlook 2007 hangs with IMAP server I am using Outlook 2007 with a remote IMAP server. Outlook OFTEN loads and hangs with 'Send/Receive status 52%'. I then close Outlook and re-open it and if OFTEN goes right to 100% and says 'Send/Receive complete'. Turned on 'Enable Logging (troubleshooting). The file you need is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the
mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.

Assuming you were using outlook, all data is in the *.pst file, named by
default outlook.pst. This is a hidden file, so you would have to search to
include hidden. You may also need to 'take ownership' - see win help - in
order to copy this file to eg your Documents folder of your current drive.
Once there, within OL, File>Open>Data File....browse to that location
