I have the exact problem. I added a shortcut with a safe mode switch...
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\OUTLOOK.EXE" /safe
That works, but it isn't an ideal solution. I have tried the new profile
route and two other "fixes" that did nothing. One was to rename four old
files, but I only found two, even with hidden files showing. Here is a
