Hi
I installed Office SBE2007 but could not get Outlook to work so uninstalled
it and put 2003 back. I have now figured out the problem with 2007 and want
to install it. I put the disk in the PC but it will not allow me to select
Outlook 2007. It just has the red cross and unavailable next to.
Am I being stupid here?

You must uninstall any previous version of Outlook first. Preferably all
other entire Office suites if you are not going to use it. If it is still
not available after than, uninstall Office 2007 as well and install it again
and select Outlook.

Even if this is an upgrade version of SBE2007 I am installing? Will it not
fall over when it does not see the 2003 version there?

No, it will request for the original Office 2003 source or license key then
when it cannot be detected automatically.

Hi Roady
Back to where I was before the de-install. My theory on the error was proved
wrong. :-(

My problem is that regardless of what I do Outlook2007 will not connect to
my Exchange 2003 server. I have Outlook Anywhere open in a browser and that
is sending and receiving fine so clearly there is no connection problem, just
within the Outlook 2007 application.

Any ideas?
