I've just finished upgrading my computer and I've installed Vista Ultimate
and Office 2007. Unfortunately, it appears for one account, it is impossible
to close Outlook after I've opened it. The X in the top right corner does
nothing and selecting File -> Exit does nothing either. The only way to close
it is from the control panel.
The only e-mail account I've configured so far is a POP account from my ISP.
Does anybody have any idea what might be happening here. It's driving me nuts!

It sounds like there might be a hidden dialog open somewhere.
You try with a new profile created via the Mail icon in Control Panel and
keep your eyes open for any message that might pop up.

Thanks for the suggestion. I finally found my answer here when I realized
that Outlook was also not allowing me to create any new messages:

I fired up Word and filled in my name, closed it again and now Outlook works
fine. Very strange!
