Outlook messages marked as "opened" after Imap Download

Hi all, Can anyone tell me if there is a setting in outlook 2003 which
prevents outlook from marking mail as "read" after it has been downloaded
from exchange server to a Mobile Imap Client?

Care to explain yourself a bit more?
If you download it from Exchange to a mobile client which marks the messages
as read, how would you want Outlook to solve that? Outlook is not even
touching those items then.

Thanks for your reply, Guess your right, this is an issue with limitied
configuration options on the Imap client (a Samsung F700 Phone).. There is no
option in the phone imap config to prevent items from being marked as read on
the exchange server after imap download.. My Previous Imap Client (IPAQ) had
this option.
