Outlook 2007 Keeps Trying to Reinstall/Reconfigure

I've been running Outlook 2007 on Vista Home Premium for months with no
problems. Now I'm getting reinstalling and reconfiguring windows almost
everytime I try to send or receive messages. Outlook sends and receives okay
but it must go thorough this reinstall/reconfigure dance first.

Note: I had this same reinstall/reconfigure problem with all the Office 2007
Programs at the same time but I deleted the existing shortcuts and made new
ones from the Program Files menu (for Word, Powerpoint & Excel). That fixed
those Office programs but a new shortcut icon (from Program Files Menu)
didn't work for Outlook. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I should mention that I'm using a POP Server through Time warner Cable.
