    - Certification Code I unfortunately tried the new Betas. Ever since I reinstalled my "Office XP 2002 Small Business" & Windows XP using Microsoft's Beta uninstall, I have been having constant problems, constantly getting worse. I ran a complete back-up before I ran scan disc. It crashed & only took about two days to get it back up. However, I do not have the original packaging with the 29 digit & 14 digit numbers that I need to re-install "Office XP 2002 Small Business". Can any one tell me how I can find them without paying $49.99 for Microsoft "Help???" i AM 59 YEARS & HAVE LOST EVERYTHING IN A WORKERS COMP ACCIDENT. I LIVE ON SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY.     - Outlook 2003 constantly tries to reinstall Not sure if this is the correct place to post but hopefully someone can help out. I had someone install SBS 2003 R2 with Exchange. When we connected my (perfectly running) notebook to the network, it installed Outlook 2003 (previously on Outlook 2000). It now continuously tried to reinstall and runs through the process each time I open it. I can't find any references to constantly reinstalling Outlook 2003 after installing SBS 2003 anywhere. Has anyone come across this before and know what to do to stop it? It also pooched another program I use and it will not reinstall properly due to dll registration errors. I am trying to set up the same profile on another computer with the IMAP account but it's not allowing me to do so.     - mspst.dll I have loaded outlook from office xp 2002 on my e-machine. It worked once and then stopped working. The error message talks about MAPI and mspst.dll. Everything else in office works but not outlook. It either asks to start up in safe mode or open the default folders if the default email folders cannot be found.     - Bookmark is not Valid Hi, We have just setup exchange 2007 in our internal domain which is sending and receiving mail fine. However when you come to use Outlook (2007) and lookup your mailbox we get the following error: 'The name cannot be resolved.     - Reminder Pop-Up in Outlook 2003 I'm getting a Reminder Window pop-up any time I send or receive e-mail. I have to snooze the reminder to clear it or delete the e-mail message. Install the same language or download correct version of Connector." I setip pop3 and smtp settings correctly. e cn send emails out and they get delivered to rcipient. emails going to POP3 are getting pulled down to our exchange server, but do not appear in our inboxes. only emails that are sent internally appear in our inboxes.     - Error Message When trying to open my Outlook 2003 software Need major assistance with the following error message I am recieving. I have had my Microsoft Office 2003 Edition the student and teacher edition installed on my dell laptop fop 2 years and then suddenly I go to open my out look and the follwoing message has been appearing and not going away. " Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Unable to open the outlook window. The set folders clould not be opened. The server is not available. Contact your administrator if this condition persists." I have many e-mails and contacts that I need to access, I need assistance in correcting this issue. I have tried to reinstall the software but it does not recognize it and will not let me delete or reinstall. I have backed up my outlook every week for awhile so I can back it up if I delete it off my system but I will loose all the e-mails I have on the system which I really need to access.     - Upgrade problem from 2003 to 2007 There seems to be a compatibility issue between the OL 2003 and OL 2007 and I think it is the way I upgraded. OL 2007 is very unstable - crashes constantly, freezes, comes up with an error message "The document template is not valid" whenever I try to create an email, open an email, create an appointment, a task etc. I also do not have an address book, even though I imported my contacts. I understand you have to create a link so that Outlook will use your contacts as your address book. I have followed the steps set out by Microsoft but my Contacts is greyed out and I can't select it to link as my address book. Something is seriously wrong with it. Dell have told me I need to use the Import/Export Wizard to transfer my settings across (this was 12 months ago I did the initial transfer using Files and Transfer Wizard in XP). I run Vista Home Premium on this new laptop with Office 2007. Can I delete everything, do a fresh install of 2007 and create my contacts from scratch and set up my email addresses again?     - Muttiple email POP accounts I have two POP email account. When I reply to an email, I am told the default behavior of Outlook is to reply from the email address that was received on. When I set up a profile with one of the accounts it always replies to that account (i.e. I think the email settings are fine). When I set up a profile with two of the email accounts, it always replies using one of the two accounts.     - silent setup of Outlook 2000 Hi, I am working on imaging machines with ghost for use in a classroom environment. The product I am training on requires an outlook profile to be configured prior to its install. I have managed to use Ghost to get the machine configured and I have a script which will then configure the product, but I am struggling to automate the Outlook setup. Currently, if I open Outlook after imaging, I get the standard wizard interface to allow me to create my profile, (specify my exchange server etc etc) and finally set Outlook as the default client. MOST of the Outlook profiles were successfully made aware of the migration using methods unknown to me. (Perhaps using the move mailbox command .. ?) 3. However, with some workstations, users login only to find that their outlook profile hasn't been updated to the new_server ... so opening Outlook eventually times out (because it can't find "old_server"), and the user has to manually set their exchange server to the new one. 3NOTE: I think it might be because Network IT turned off the old_server exchange server too early, so anyone who didn't open their outlook, say, in the week the old one was left on didn't get that 'auto migrate' step ... From what I understand we can use a PRF file to correct the issue.     - Removing folder reference to nonexistent PST file. In Outlook 2003, I previously created and used a secondary PST file for a temporary purpose. I wanted to simply "Close" that temporary use PST file. However, the file is still listed in the list of folders, and would not respond to the "Close Data File" command. Deleting the secondary PST file had no effect, and deleting the *.NK2 file had no effect. The old secondary file is still listed, but there is no real PST file to open, so requests to "Close" or "Remove" only return error messages. The secondary datafile is no longer listed in the "Data File Management" dialog box. ScanPST.exe has no effect. Do I have to do something with the primary PST file, and/or the profile?     - Error while trying to configure Outlook 2003 All, I am trying to setup outlook 2003 under a new user's profile. When I enter the exchange server and mailbox name I get an error that reads; "The name could not be resolved. The name could not be matched to the name in the address list." I have verified that this user has an active box in AD and that the user is able to connect to this box using OWA. I tried to reinstall Outlook 2007, but it seemd as if it never really took away all the old, but I am not sure. With reinstallation of Outlook 2007, I encountered problems with registration keys: as if I was not allowed to install this problem. I am the administrator so that should not be any problem. Also tried to change the registration key to full control by administrator, but then the problem was shifted to another registration key. There was an option to neglect, and so I did. But then, another problem was there. As I would like to have outlook synchronizing to the office Exchange Server 2003 at my work (fully patched as far as I know), I filled in for this purpose. But: * Problem: Cannot connect to the exchange server using HTTPS (had no problems with old laptop running XP). However, finding my mail box/username for other mailaccounts (http or Imap) - no problem; completing the Mail setup for those - no problem. But when exchange server connections are filled in as account - PROBLEMS Symptoms: When I open up Outlook, I get prompted for username/pwd (so far so good), but that's it! Either Outlook times out without ever opening up or I get error messages that Outlook can't connect to server, or cannot start Outlook, cannot open the outlook view, and telling me that I am not allowed for actions like this. Though I am administrator of my own computer. Additional Info: (i) Accessing the exchange server via Outlook Web â?? no problem; (ii) Accessing the exchange server via VPN - no problem; (iii) Have tried to copy all settings from my XP laptop â?? it just bnever runs for the connection with the exchange server also I have the service pack 1 installed recently. Does not help me out of these problems. So there must be something wrong with outlook 2007 itself. I would be very grateful for some help (anyone from Microsoft?)     - Outlook 2007 Cannot configure Outlook Anywhere I am trying to connect an Outlook 2007 account to an Exchange 2003 server with an ISA server Firewall by using "outlook anywhere" which used to be RPC over HTTP. It just says that outlook must be online and the password box just keeps popping up for my Exchange server. However, it won't accept the credentials which I know are correct. Wondering if anyone knows how you can get Outlook 2003 to open the inbox on
startup. I have read some websites that say you can't is this true?

Not true. Start Microsoft Outlook and then select Tools > Options > Other
tab > Advanced Options button. The option you want is right at at the top
of the dialog.
