    - PST FILE and NTFS Security Problem. All my PST files are stored in a folder which security permission is set to "deny" to "delete Subfolders and Files" and "delete" permissions. I tried to add the pst files to Outlook 2007, I'm getting the error message "The file cannot be open". If I remove the "deny" permission, It works fine. Previously I used Outlook 2003, which it's worked fine even with "Deny" permission. As per my company policy, I need to set "deny" permission to all users PST files to prevent users from deleting the pst files accidently. Please help me to resolve this issue.     - Synchronising with Nokia 6233 I have recently had Office 2007 loaded and now can not synchronise with Nokia phone model 6233. Prior to loading Office 2007 it worked well with Office 2000. Have loaded most recent Nokia PC Suite but still no success. I am able to pair both phone and PC and they recognise each other but when I go to synchronise I get the following error message "Cannot authenticate the phone".     - outlook 2007 run in sleep mode I'm running Office/Outlook 2007 on new laptop with Vista When I had XP on my previous machine, and it went to "sleep" after not being used for awhile, emails would still "send/receive" and come in. Now with this new machine in Vista, until I "wake" the machine but getting it to pop back on, only then does the "send/receive" execute and emails start pouring in.     - 2002 - error sending messages Error 0x800CCC0F when sending msgs. can receive msgs. Have AT&T DSL, I.E. 6.0. Per AT&T, SMTP Port should be 465 but that doesn't work.     - Can I auto-forward incoming emails to another email account? I have an email account on an exchange server. Normally I access all the email with Outlook 2003. However in the near future I want to forward all these incoming messages to another account for a while. In other words: whenever an email arrives it should be automatically (!) forwarded to another account. Can I setup this anyhow?     - How do you change the Archive logic? We recently converted from Notes to Exchange and Outlook. When the mail was converted, Exchange updated the internal field, "last modified date" to the date of the conversion. It seems that the archive process uses this field to archive. Thus, when the users try to archive, nothing gets archived...or they have to archive everything that was converted to Notes. -- Thanks in advance for any suggestions.     - Oulook 2007 'send mail' authentication error My mail input in Outlook 2007 works fine. when sending mail I receive the following error: "Send test e-mail message: None of the authentication methods supported by this client are supported by your server". I'v worked with Road Runner, my email provider and all settings and ports are correctly configured. When using my account on their site, I can send and receive. I am using a trial version of 2007 to interface to my Treo 800W, so I can not receive support and I am concerned that the trial version may not allow we to remove and reinstall Outlook.     - PST file from 2007 to 2003 issue 1. I ran Outlook 2003 2. I had a disk crash 3. I took the PST file from backup to another computer that runs Office 2007 4. No problem 5. Original computer is now fixed and continues to run Office 2003 6. I took the (now 2007) PST file back to the 2003 machine. 7. No problem, except for one major one: I cannot receive messages.     - setting the Trash folder I use Outlook with my IMAP email service and have a problem with Outlook recognizing the trash folder. After I configured my account, the "Trash" and "Junk" folders did not have unique icons next to them. The problem that I have with this is that when I hit "delete" on an email, I would like it to be moved to the "Trash" folder. My company uses exchange email so when it first prompt if I want to configure an email account, I go yes, and chosen MS Exchange. But this time round, outlook keep prompting that it is not a valid address and if I click cancel, it will close the outlook. When I start outlook again, it prompt me for the exchange server again.     - Outlook2003 sends but doesn't receive Hello all - I recently switched from dialup to DSL; I deleted the dialup account from outlook and added the new DSL account. When I click the "test account" button, everything passes. I can send email from this new account, but it will not download incoming messages from the ISP server.     - missing files & folder after importing pst file I just added a new pc to sbs 2003 network, I also installed OL 2007 on a new machine as well as the existing pc's on the network. The problem is after installing OL 2007 I'm not able to see my pst file information that I imported back into outlook 2007. When I installed outlook it automatically picked up the exchange mailbox.     - Custom Directory is Full - Error message? OUTLOOK 2003 - I recently downloaded (after three attempts) SP3. I noticed several email's went out with spelling errors. I created a new email and ran Spellcheck, it said Spellcheck was not installed, even though it had been working previously prior to SP3. Messaged asked if I wanted to install, I said yes..     - Outlook 2007 on Vista to SBS2003 Exch: no connection error 0x80040 Recently added a first Vista ultimate pc to SBS2003R32 managed server/domain. All works well on this machine, except for outlook. Version of Outlook? Version of Exchange? Did you speak to the administrator?
If Outlook and Exchange 2007, the admin needs to check the configuration.
