did you upgrade an older version of office? if so, uninstall office 2007 and
uninstall the older version of outlook and reinstall office 2007. the trial
doesn't remove the old version of outlook properly.

Uninstalling OL has no impact on the data files, but you should in any case
have data backups

yes, it should work then. Make a backup of the pst just to be safe (you can
copy it to my documents) - but you probably won't need it.

OK I backedup my pst
installed the old outlook
rebooted my pc
ran the install for the trial pro again and still there is no outlook. I
went to install features and there still is a red X on outlook.

Hi Brain

When doing the install of 2007 Pro Trail ,clicking on the Red Cross next to
Outlook 2007, only gives the response "not available". There is no option to
"Run from My Computer"

Do you have a prior version of Outlook on your PC? Uninstall it first.
