    - Why emails sitting in Outbox using Outlook 2003? The school uses MS Exchange. I set up 4 distribution lists for our school. I could not put all 222 students within ONE email distribution list as it appears to have a cap/max and won't let me add more than 95 recipients. So, I have 4 distribution lists named Students A-G, Students H-L, Students M-R, and Students S-Z. When I want to send out an ALL SCHOOL email, I can only use ONE distribution list at a time and then I have to copy and paste the email into 3 separate emails using the 3 other distribution lists. After sending the first email, it seems to keep the other emails in my Outbox and won't send them. Why? Also, if it's a matter of virus protection and/or that there is a restriction on how many emails can be sent per hour, can this be changed? How do other schools send out SCHOOL WIDE emails?     - Filtering meeting invites I receive on behalf of manager I support multiple managers and have been delegated and given permission to manage their calendars. I receive so many meeting invites that it take to much time to go through when I have more important things that need to be done. My company has a space limit so I need to go through in order to receive and send e-mails. It would be nice to have a way to create a rule to filter meeting invites by who the invite is intended. Is there a way to filter or create a rule to move all meeting invites of a required attendee that actual meeting invite e-mail is sent too and move it a folder I have created for them. I believe the meeting invite is basically a ghost message, but I can accept, modify, and decline on my managers' behalf. I keep them until I the meetings have taken place.     - How do I resetup a user's Outlook account on their desktop compute This is with Outlook/Office 2003 Frequently, the .pst file gets munged in some sort of way so it doesn't let us remove extra mailboxes on the users outlook. It seems to be necessary to resetup their Outlook complete to get rid of these ghost accounts. I have not been able to figure out how to do this without removing their account from their desktop computer and remaking it, which is a hassle because then you need to reduplicate their settings, links, etc. I do not want to remake their exchange server account, I just want to remake their local Outlook.     - problem with inserting hyperlinks We are using Outlook/Office 2003 We have part of a dfs mounted file system. When a user tries to insert a hyper link in their email (using insert->hyperlink from new message or reply in Outlook) some users cannot see this dfs moutned file system. The weird thing is it seems to have nothing to do with permissions. Some users can see that files system and some can't, doesn't matter if they have admin privledges or not. What can we do about this? Interestingly, even if they can't see the filesystem/folder under "Look in" if they go to the right of that row and click on "Browse for file" they can see it.     - Rules & Alerts Wizard crashing Outlook Greetings, We are having a problem with Outlook shutting down and having to restart when the rules & alerts Wizard is started with Rules configured for one user on one workstation on a Domain using Exchange Server.     - Nuisance toolbars and toolbar appearance in Outlook 2003 I recently got a new laptop at work, with a full new install of Office 2003, etc. Also, I have Word as my email editor. Typically when I send an email from my outlook, the message content is controlled/corrected by the formatting tools built in to outlook (i.e. when I type the first name in all lower case, it will automatically change the first letter to an uppercase.     - Outlook 2007 via SBS VPN gets intermittent connection issues? Hi, I have an SBS 2003 Server with a client using XP Pro and connecting via Small Business Server Connection manager. Nine times out of ten she gets the: "Task reported error 0x8004011D. The server is not available. Contact your administrator if this condition persists." I have checked that she can ping the server from a command prompt and that works fine and indeed she can access another application on the same server that uses a terminal application and she can get through to run that OK so I know she is connected OK to the main server. In an earlier attempt to see if I could get this to work I did add the server name to the hosts file (I know in and Active Directory and DNS set up I shouldn't need this but when you are struggling you try anything). I don't think I need it but threw that in, in case it is now having a negative bearing on the issue. I had a look at various posts including the KB article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/939321 but this seems to be Vista based and the "netsh advfirewall ..." command isn't available to XP. Does anyone know of any other reasons that might be causing this? She has found that she can connect on a day when there are less users in the office that she is connecting to, so it may be some form of limit that is being exceeded??     - Calendar Attachment wont save in Calendar Hello, I composed an email in Outlook 2007 and included two (2) calendar attachments. I instructed users to open the desired calendar attachment and hit Save & Close to save it to their calendar; however, when users do that the appointment is not saved to the calendar. Is this a bug in Outlook 2007 because in the pass I use to attach calendar items to an email and users did not have an issue saving them to their calendars.
