one last bit of info before I turn in..
to give you and idea and an example of the problem
I create a new e-mail
I use these emails to save a forest.. I used to print stock prices and fund
performances on my printer. now I go to mymsn.com and there I have set up a
listing of stocks that i am interested in... after cob I go to mymsn.com and
copy and paste the listing of stocks with closing price and change etc. I
then paste that info into my e-mail. I then can select some of the entries
such as the DOW, AT&T and Verizon and that results in daily hourly graphs
and stats on these stocks or indices. I copy those and also paste them into
the e-mail.. I also go to FIDELITY sehre my 401k is invested and print a few
of the pages relative to that days changes.. (i have to do this after about
9 pmedt to get the closing data relative to various plans in am invested
in...all this goes into the same email and I use a date in the subject (eg:
today 20080513 COB TUESDAY ) followed by some key values that I put in for
each day... i then send this email to myself and when it comes into my inbox
i move it to a folder where all previous days data in sorted by the subject.
thats it in a nutshell. i no longer print many pages each night but
instead just go to that e-mail folder to see trends, etc.. I have plans on
putting it into an xcell spreadsheet but that has not happened yet.
now up to a week or so ago i could go into that email while i am building
it and just drag my cursor over anything and highlight it and then just hit
the delete key on my kbd and erase it..
i can no longer do that... and I dont know why...
i have gone into "help" and done a successful "detect and repair" and still
have the same problem.. i am wondering if i should mount my original disk and
do a "repair" of office 2003>>> ???
thats it... talk at you later...
