I have been trying to search for this problem, but keep coming up short with finding a solution. I have a user (just one) who's replys have recently acted funny. When sending a reply, the line separator turns into text, more specifically: size=2 width="100%" align=center tabindex=-1>

This only happens with replys, and AFTER the message has been sent. In other words, when he hits reply, the separator is there, but after the message is sent, both the sent items message and the receiving user sees size=2 width="100%" align=center tabindex=-1> instead of the separator.

This is using Outlook 2003 on an XP Pro machine. I have tried setting the message format as HTML, rich text, and plain text.

Thanks,

mus

I have a similar problem with both Reply and Forward. The original text has
double spacing on all paragraphs marked as "Normal". I can manually fix the
formatting by Format, Paragraph, Spacing, and change "auto" to "0" and the
original text now looks as original. How can I change the default for this
so that formatting is unchanged?
