    - ofc 2003 outlook unable delete copied docs on new unsent emails i find that when i drag my cursor over all or part of a document that i had recently copied into a newly created e-mail document (outlook 2003/word 2003 email editor) and then decided i no longer wished to have that document contained in whole or part of that e-mail it correctly highlights all words that i dragged over, but when i hit the "delete " key on my keyboard to delete this highlighted and unwanted data, it does not delete...nothing happens. i further checked that i can place my cursor on the first character of any word and click and i can then start deleting char by char and that works ok.. but it is inefficient, especially when i want to delete what could be hundreds/thousands of words in succession. this had worked fine less than a few days ago. but something happened and i dont know what. i am using microsoft opffice 2003 with outlook 2003 e-mail and Word 2003 as the editor. i would appreciate it very much if someone could tell me how i can restore the old method of dragging the cursor over to highlight and then just hitting the keyboard "delete" key. fred@home Tag: outlook 2007 display question Tag: 577014

    - how do i import outlook 2000 to office 2007? My old computer with Windows 2000, amd Office 2000 crashed and died. I did have a backup to disc of my outlook 2000. I now have a new pc, with XP, and Office 2007. I am trying to transfer my contacts from the old file to the new. I don't know how.     - LDAP Directory I have a question about outlook 2003. I have it loaded and everything works fine but there is a box that pops up everytime I open outlook that I have to click ok on to get into my email. It is called the LDAP directory.     - How do I stop sending and recieving errors? When i open outlook i get asked to enter network password, when i enter correct password i then get error: Task 'pop3.blueyonder.co.uk-Sending and Recieving' reported error (0x800CCC92): 'Your e-mail server rejected your login.Verify your username and password in your account properties. Under tools, click E-mail accounts. The server responded: - ERR Logon failure: unknown username or bad password' However, if I either leave it until message goes away or actually do go in and type the same password i typed to begin with, which is correct, i recieve my e-mails anyway?     - cannot send e-mail We have a wireless network at our home and have three ISPs. Starting yesterday no one can send e-mails from Outlook. We can receive them and get online just fine. It is not the ISP because we have different ones. If I log into the ISP I can send e-mail. I have rebooted the entire wireless network and that didn't help.     - Outlook 2007 & time zones Recently, I had to replace my notebook. That replacement took place just few hours from travelling abroad. I hadn't time to install nothing. On the destination country I configures the local time zone (GMT-3; Brasilia), instaled a trial version of Office 2007 Professional, configured my e-mail accounts, send and receive mails, create appointments in both local and home country (GMT; Lisbon) time zones. Everything worked like a charm. On arrival, at the Lisbon airport, I changed the time zone back to 'GMT; Lisbon', and started Outlook. CPU utilization rocketed to nearly 100% and Outlook become irresponsive. I performed a repair with SCANPST but the problem persisted. Them I tried to change the computer (running Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit) time zone back to 'GMT-3; Brasilia' and the Outlook become responsive again, and CPU utilization backed to 'normal' values. After that, I changed time zone again to 'GMT; Lisbon' and be able to use Outlook normally. Until I stop it and start it again.     - archiving problems I am using Outlook 2003 SP3 I am trying to delete old appointments in my calendar. This is what I have tried; File\Archive "Archive this folder and all subfolders:" is selected. The icon Calendar is highlighted.     - importing mail sub folders I realize now that import/export is a BAD idea, I belive I am doomed because of it. I exported my mail folders along with the sub folders to a file on 2.19,08 and 5.9.08 Unfortunately in process of doing something else my e-mails are gone. I have tried the avenue of opening .pst files with no luck. When I import the 2 files listed above all I get is the e-mails stored directly in the "inbox" and the sub folder file folders but nothing in them. You see, I often backup with real ease my email directory in OE and this is great when transferring between my laptop and PC or just backing up my email in general. I'm looking for a tool to use with or in Outlook that should allow you 1. to write the main task (the final one usually) of a job you are doing 2. then it asks you to draw the "chain of event" to get there, and the time required for each step. 3. it goes to the my calendar and "automatically" book some space in the agenda for these steps to be done.     - Outlook inbox doesn't see unread mail. Ever since i upgraded to Vista, my Outlook hasn't worked properly. I now have a new folder call "unread mail". I can only get my new emails there. If i view one there, and then close it without deleting it first, it's gone. GONE! not in the inbox, not in the deleted folder, gone. If i get an email that ends up in the junk folder, and i right click it to be moved to the inbox, it's GONE. not in the inbox, and now not in the junk folder either.     - Inbox view does not refresh when new mail is received. I am running Office 2007 on a Vista machine. When Outlook does a Send/Receive, the Inbox in the Navigation Pane bolds to show a new email is received but the Inbox View does not refresh.     - Outlook 2007 - new Emails not showing up in inbox Incoming messages often do not show up in my inbox. This is sporadic and not related to emails from any specific email address. When it happens sometimes it is one email, sometimes it is a group from different sources. I keep my inbox in the view by date received with the most recent at the top. I finally figured out that if I click on another email from the same person and view all in the order "from" that email, the missing email shows up (But only in that view). Also if I click on unread mail, the missing emails show up (in that view). Once I open the email (if I find it), it shows up in my inbox.
