    - Question about .ost file i have a user who logs into a VPN connection, then launches Outlook directly from his laptop. He is not using a terminal server such as Citrix. He does this on two diffrent laptops, plus a desktop in his office which is connected by LAN. He moves items from his Inbox to subfolder called General. When he works offline, he has 20 emails in the General folder, when he comes into the office and connected through a LAN, the general folder may only have 12 items, and the other items are in his Deleted Items folder. He insists that he is not deleting them, and no one else has access to his Inbox to delete items. Is there a setting that will move the items into his Deleted Items folder?     - Different space display When I turn on "Show all formatting marks", some messages display symbols that look like degree symbols (superscript circle) for some spaces.     - Outlook doesn't send messages immediately I have Outlook set up send / receive automatically when exiting and send immediately when connected. More often than not, my outbox will still have messages in it the next time I run Outlook. When I click on the Send/Receive button, the message gets sent.     - Can't open some pdf files. Hi I have some problems opening some pdf documents fra outlook. I can open some pdf documents, but not all. I get a meaasgebox from Microsoft Office Outlookk, saying something like this (translated from danish) ; 'The file Document.pdf can't be created.     - corrupted profile - blank messages Hi there, I am using OL2007 and sometimes i get messages that seem to have blank body. In most cases they are plain text. However, if i enter through OWA to my Exchange2007 the message is not blank. Also, if i create a new profile for my account, the message is again visible. So, most probably there is something wrong with the profile i use. Since i've configured my Outlook in a specific way (views, fonts, groups etc) which will be gone in case i create a new profile, my question is: Is there a way to preserve/copy these settings in the new profile or is there something i have to edit in the current profile (i guess in the registry) which will fix my problem?     - How do I get message "You replied on...(date & time)" to show? I have work and personal folders set up in my Outlook account. For my work folders, the message "You replied on..(date and time)" appears at the top of my Inbox messages, for those messages I have replied to.     - Select name window in outlook 2002 I recently had to reformatt my computer and reload Office XP. I installed all the updates and service packs. My question is; before the reinstall when I would click on the "New" email in Outlook 2002 and click on "TO:" the "Select Names" window would have the Contacts on top with the email addresses & or fax #'s visable on the right side, as well as the TO, CC & BC boxes at the bottom of the window. Now the Select Names window is smaller, Contacts are on the left side and you would have to slide the bar to see the email addresses and the To, CC & BC boxes are on the right.     - Deleted reminder for bday, but now I want and receive an error mes I started to delete the bday reminder that was automatically generated when I entered all our school's students. I didn't think the teachers wanted to see a reminder for bdays everyday, so i viewed the Calendar by category and added the REMINDER column to the view. When it put their birthdays to the Calendar it automatically set a 'reminder' for every single student. Can I 'group' turn off the reminders for all students, or do I have to go in and out of each student and turn this off? Also, I want all their birthdays to be the color purple that has the 'birthday' label associated with it.     - What does "cannot initialize CLR" mean? I updated from office 03 to office 07.     - Dates changing when i change the time on an appointment Help. I schedule trips for people who charter our buses. I start the appointment sometimes with a time and sometimes without, but I always have the days set. When I then change it to a time leaving and returning. It changes the dates without my doing so. If they then make a change to that time - it will change the time to be accurate but again change the date - and sometimes I don't catch it. It wasn't a real problem until recently. I'm not sure why.     - A Repeating Popup Messages Asking For Network Password i just install the trial version of Office 2007. I keep getting a popup message asking me for the network password. This is ever after I ask the system to save my password. This only happens in Outlook 2007. I can recreate the popup by asking for a Send/Receive.     - saving sent items in inbox I use Outlook 2003 along with my gmail account. All of a sudden every single message I send out (replies/new/forwards) is going to my inbox. It saves in the sent folder as well and that's okay but i have a blackberry that receives messages as well and I don't want the sent items going to my inbox which triggers my blackberry as if I had a new message. I am not able to send from outlook when I am not on my home network however I can receive mail.     - What happened to my deleted emails? This just started yesterday. All of a sudden, when I delete an email it completely disappears (immediately) rather than going into the deleted email folder.     - access old emails stored on slave hard drive I have recently had to have a windows reinstall. In order to do this a new 'C' drive was put into my machine, and the old 'C' drive is now a slave 'F' drive. All my old files and information is on the F drive. This message sounds like it is because your mail server is limiting how many
emails it allows you to send in a day. If this mail server is from your ISP,
you can call them up, and ask to get an increased daily limit
