How do I convert table to text in Outlook 2007?

In 2000 and 2003, it was a simple matter of selecting the text and then
changing through table|convert to text. This doesn't appear to be an option
in Outlook 2007 when forwarding emails with heaps of excess formatting (in a
not-needed table) included.
