    - Calendar Screen tips? I am currently using Outlook 2003. When I set up a meeting and go to the scheduling tab, some attendees I can hover the mouse over and the attendees appointments for the day will pop up and you can see their agenda for the day. With others nothing will pop up even if they are not private items. Is there some way the individual can toggle this feature on or off or is this feature controled on the exchange server?     - Adding Field with unlimited space in Outlook` Hi, I have created a merge letter in Word and am extracting information from my Outlook Contacts for the letter. My question is this: Is there a way I can create a "new" field with "UNLIMITED" space where I can enter quite a bit of information i.e., in my case - all specific jobs a contact has worked on? I would thenpull information from that "unlimited field" to merge into my letter in Word. I tried using "user field" but only have the capability of using 107 characters and I need much more room.     - Outlook 2007 Can not change automatic download settings. I recently upgraded to Office 2007. In Outlook, when I receive emails that have embedded graphics, the graphics have the red X through them. I can download the pictures my right clicking and selecting download or by clicking on the message bar at the top and selecting download pictures. However, I would like Outlook to automatically download the pictures. When I go into trust center and automatic download, "Dont download pictures automaticall in HTML emails" is checked off AND it is GRAYED out so I can not change it. Email security is NOT set to read all emails as plain text. I created a new Outlook profile and it is the same way in the new profile. How can I fix this?     - View Mail and (Calendar or Contacts) simultaneously I regularly want to look at my email and either contacts or calendar (a whole month worth) simultaneously. Can that be done? I have two monitors so plenty of screen real estate. Even quick switching between the two is highly inconvenient. The only way I found is to use Microsoft Virtual PC and have another instance of XP running with Outlook there but that is also inconvenient. Is there a simpler way?     - Red X in the text box I have several workstations running both XPsp2 and Vista and all running IE7 that when I open Outlook Web Access and try to reply to an email, I get a red X in the box where the text would go. I have read several forums that say it is a security issue, an Exchange hotfix even missing add-ons but nothing I can find to fix the problem. I have two machines sitting on my desk and one works fine and teh other has the red x. I have compared the settings on both machines and can not find anything glaring obvious.     - Outlook Won't Open, Reinstalling, and I can't find old .pst files Over the past few weeks, Outlook became slower and slower. Finally it took several minutes to open. When it did open, I tried to export (so I could back up), but a "Internal translation system error" came up. When I tried to open an email in my inbox, I got a Microsoft Outlook encountered a problem and needs to close. I tried using the disk to repair, but nothing improved. I now want to re-install Outlook, but want to find and dave the outlook.pst file and archive.pst file. I can't find them on my computer running windows XP. I would appreciate a hand.     - outlook, word attachments, docx files, not opening for recipient I am trying to send 2007 word document to recipients using outlook express.     - Can I still check yahoo or gmail email messages through Outlook? As of this week I no longer seem to be able to check my email messages (via Pop) or accounts for Gmail, Yahoo etc. through Outlook. The pop set up etc. have not changed, and I used to be able to gather messages from all accounts in my outlook. If anyone can still do this, can you please tell me how?     - Outlook 2003 - Notes are hidden from mail folder views I've recently upgraded from Outlook 2000 to Outlook 2003. One thing I noticed is when I navigate my inbox tree via the All Mail Folders "view", only mail folders are visible. I see there is a Notes view that just shows me notes, but this is not conducive to my orgizational style using notes previous to this version of Outlook. I assume I am missing something obvious. The only parameter i found about it is in Tools > Confidentiality center > Security... read all message in plain text, and it's not checked. I've never had defrag report any fragments in OL before. I was advised on the Windows XP board that my .pst file was too large (2.19GB) but it's Unicode and I thought there was no limit on the size?     - I get an error code Library not registered When I start my computer I get an erroe ... something about SQL Dumber & Library not registerd. I tried installing the send personally add in to outlook and now every action I perform , like new messages etc, I get an error code Library not registerd.     - Outlook 2007 not archiving data I am using Outlook 2007 with Exchange/CRM Outlook Client Desktop NON MSX cached mode. I am setting up Auto-Archiving to move older items (24 mths) to a shared network location and renaming the archive file to 'archive-user.pst' When I run the Mailbox cleanup and AutoArchive button, I completes the task but does not move any emails. During the process it flashes between what looks like a TEMP personal folder (which doesnt exist) and the archive folder that gets created. I get tons of unwanted emails and in my old outlook express, it would store the email adresses I blocked and automatically send a new email from the blocked address to the trash folder.     - Paragraph spacing We just started using Outlook 2007. One of our employees is now having problems with her paragraph spacing. When she replies to e-mails, the spacing is single and the Before/After paragraph spacing is set at 0 pt, but when she creates new e-mails, the Before/After paragraph spacing changes to Auto, which is making her e-mails double spaced, and she has to change the setting every time she creates a new e-mail.     - Outlook 2007 tells you to restart on cluster failover??? Hello. We are currently moving to a clustered environment with Exchange 2003. Users are also on Outlook 2003 and we are beginning to transition to Outlook 2007. We've discovered that when you manually fail exchange from one cluster node to another, Outlook 2007 tells the user "microsoft exchange administrator has made a change that requires you quit and restart outlook". But Outlook 2003 seems to work correctly, it will stop responding for a minute until the exchange cluster resource is moved and then the user is able to continue work uninterrupted. The clients do not run in cached mode. But we have tried testing Outlook 2007 cached mode, and the user is still told to restart Outlook when the exchange cluster is told to failover.     - Deleting temporary memory I have OUtlook 2003 installed on a Vista Home Premium machine. I had an email account which had problems sending emails due to an SSL issue. I now have emails in some kind of temp memory (i.e. even though they have left the "outbox", they have not left "Outlook").     - Time Delaying email message through a rule. I am using Outlook 2003 and Exchange Server 5.5 SP4 and trying to delay delivery of a message from within a rule. I have been able to put in a date and time but the next time a message comes with it is automatically sending the message. Here is the scenario. contacts tab all my addresses and emails are there.
