We have a wireless network at our home and have three ISPs. Starting
yesterday no one can send e-mails from Outlook. We can receive them and get
online just fine. It is not the ISP because we have different ones. If I
log into the ISP I can send e-mail. I have rebooted the entire wireless
network and that didn't help. We use AVG for virus protection and I disabled
the scan sent e-mails function and that didn't fix it. Any ideas?

Hard to say without any configuration details;

Version of Outlook?
Type of mail account?
What happens when you try? Any error message?
Since when do you have this issue? When did it work the last time? What
changed in between?

No, you do not have 3 ISPs. You have 1 ISP. What you may have is 3
e-mail providers.

Is the error message a secret?

No, you all share 1 ISP. ISP = Internet Service Provider. They are
who provide you with Internet connectivity. They may or may not also
be your e-mail provider.

> If I log into the ISP I can send e-mail.

Because you are using their webmail interface which eliminates using a
local e-mail program. Can't tell you what is wrong because the error
during a send is, so far, a secret.

> I have rebooted the entire wireless network and that didn't help.

You already proved you have access to the Internet because you use your
browser to connect to a web site (to test using a webmail interface).

Not until you choose that the error message is no longer a secret.

Not sure what you mean. We use comcast to get on-line and use comcast,
advanced access and axsen as webmail hosts.

Message says (0x80042109) Outlook cannot connect to your outgoing (smtp)
e-mail server.

I have a verizon internet card for my laptop. I am able to send via Outlook
when I log into the verizon network. so it must be something with the
linksys.

So why would you pick the Outlook newsgroup then for point of
troubleshooting and not Linksys? Apparently there is noting wrong with your
Outlook configuration.

Resetting your Wireless device is the first step of troubleshooting this
issue.

Bet you remember next time to provide details so someone not standing
next to you can figure out the problem.

That means what type of e-mail account did you define inside of Outlook?
POP, IMAP, Exchange, HTTP (Hotmail), what?

Do not summarize the error message. Do not truncate or paraphrase the
error message. Show the error message in its entirety. Copy-n-paste
the error message or transcribe it verbatim.

So to whom's e-mail service are you trying to connect when you are not
using Verizon as your ISP?
