    - Paragraph spacing We just started using Outlook 2007. One of our employees is now having problems with her paragraph spacing. When she replies to e-mails, the spacing is single and the Before/After paragraph spacing is set at 0 pt, but when she creates new e-mails, the Before/After paragraph spacing changes to Auto, which is making her e-mails double spaced, and she has to change the setting every time she creates a new e-mail.     - Outlook 2007 tells you to restart on cluster failover??? Hello. We are currently moving to a clustered environment with Exchange 2003. Users are also on Outlook 2003 and we are beginning to transition to Outlook 2007. We've discovered that when you manually fail exchange from one cluster node to another, Outlook 2007 tells the user "microsoft exchange administrator has made a change that requires you quit and restart outlook". But Outlook 2003 seems to work correctly, it will stop responding for a minute until the exchange cluster resource is moved and then the user is able to continue work uninterrupted. The clients do not run in cached mode. But we have tried testing Outlook 2007 cached mode, and the user is still told to restart Outlook when the exchange cluster is told to failover.     - MS Outlook 2003, printing issue MS Outlook 2003 (11.8206.8202) SP3. The specific e-mail I want to print is selected and can be seen in the preview pane, I click the print icon and the following message appears: "Message headers cannot be printed. Download the complete message and then print." The only fix I have found is rebooting my system (occasionally having to do so twice).     - Deleting temporary memory I have OUtlook 2003 installed on a Vista Home Premium machine. I had an email account which had problems sending emails due to an SSL issue. I now have emails in some kind of temp memory (i.e. even though they have left the "outbox", they have not left "Outlook"). Outlook tries to resend these mails every couple of minutes, but cannot due to the SSL issue. I reinstalled the complete Office package and the problem returns as soon as I add the POP account again.     - Time Delaying email message through a rule. I am using Outlook 2003 and Exchange Server 5.5 SP4 and trying to delay delivery of a message from within a rule. I have been able to put in a date and time but the next time a message comes with it is automatically sending the message. Here is the scenario. We have a program running at 3:15 AM that is going to send and email but I don't want it to get sent to a cell phone until after 7:00 AM. This is going to happen daily. If I specify a date and time in the rule because it is after the date that I put in the rule it is automatically sending the email.     - Deleted mail account I am using a PC running XP Pro and Outlook 2003 SP1. The machine has been used in an office until 2 years ago, so it still has Outlook with Exchange at the time included in a Msft Small Business Server 2003 (?) package. I am using this computer stand alone, and have been adding new e-mail accounts from several different ISPÂ´s whose messages (In and Out) were all visible in the same Exchange main mail folder in Outlook. A few days ago, someone deleted the Exchange account, saying it wouldnÂ´t be necessary anymore since all messages were getting in through other e-mail accounts. Doing so, all messages were gone as well as Contacts and Calendar. Now I can only see old messages archive folders (*.pst).     - Intermittant issue with outlook and calendars I have office 2003 and am running outlook, The problem is when switching between mail and calendar it can be very slow (up to 3 minutes) to switch or view another users calendar. I thought it may be a network issue but it isnt always the case as even when starting it can take a long time to view even my own calendar. It isnt in cached mode and the system spec is XP SP2 with 3gb ram... the processor isnt being use much at the time of the slowdown. outlook spikes to aprox 50% usage but nothing else is using the processor...     - Calendar Automatic Formatting not working properly Hi guys, Help !!!!!!! I'm trying to create conditional formatting for a shared calendar. Condition 1 : Red (using labels) if the meeting has been cancelled (condition is : Subject contains "Meeting Cancelled") Condition 2 : Blue if the meeting has been created (condition is : Advanced tab : appointments field : "created" then "in the last 7 days" Condition 3 : Green if the meeting has been modified (condition is : Advanced tab : appointments field : "modified" then "in the last 7 days" Condition 1 works fine, but Conditions 2 and 3 don't work well together : all meetings will be in green or in blue, depending on the order of conditions 2 and 3 in the list.     - Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Manager Help with Projects Nobody seems to be answering questions in the BCM subtopic so I will try hereâ?¦ I created a project with several contacts and tasks. How can I print the project form as it shows with all the contacts and tasks and/or create a report that includes all that info. When the project screen is open and I choose â??printâ?? and â??memo styleâ?? (the only option available) I get a list of things like â??parent entityâ?? and a line and Â½ of letters and numbers and the number of tasks but not the actual tasks. â??define print stylesâ?? does not include any edit options for the content. There are no preloaded reports that will print all project details (contacts, tasks etc) in one place. All I want is to print what is on the project screen and I can't find a way to do what should be obvious. Question 2 Can I make a template for projects?     - Help Please - Recurring appointment issues driving us potty! Dear Outlook Gurus, In the last month or so, we have had several users report problems with recurring appointments that they manage for other staff in Outlook 2003 (eg. personal assistants looking after manager appointments). These managers also synchronise their Outlook data to mobile phones. Problems reported include: * when updating date/time for one specific date (not the series), some invitees end up with the appointment in their calendar TWICE (old and new date) * appointments disappearing and then reappearing the next day (very strange) * some invitees having changed appointment in their calendar correctly, but other invitees still having old appointment date/time in their calendar (even when they have swore they have accepted updated time) * instances where Outlook comes up with an error re: being able to open or change a recurring appointment (this was somewhat fixed by clearing the forms cache). * errors appearing re: being able to change a recurring appointment, but then it sends the update anyway - so invitees are getting multiple copies. As you can appreciate, we have tried to duplicate the problems but things seem to be OK when we test it with them. The only thing that has fixed things slightly has been to clear the forms cache as advised on another post. Obviously such problems are VERY frustrating for our users. It seems to be restricted to recurring appointments and for instances where someone else is looking after another person's calendar on their behalf (and where they are changing dates/times and required attendees). Has anyone else experienced or seen one or more of these issues before? Any ideas on what we can do to resolve any of them? Any advice would be appreciated ...     - Trouble Sending Attachments Please give me some advise. I use 2003 Mircosoft Outlook and am having a problem sending out attachments. If it is a simple word file, there doesn't seem to be any problem. If I attach an image file or a picture then sometimes it will send and other times it won't. Some of these attachments are not more than 1 mg in size. If it does send, it usually takes forever to do the task. It is my understanding that I should be able to send files up to 20 mg.     - Archive workaround!? The company I work for has disabled archiving for Outlook (2003). They also do a mail purge at intervals. (Under Tools --> Options, the Archive feature does not show.) I understand they have security reasons for this, but, with no malicious intent, I'd prefer to be able to save my old e-mails to my local PC. (They are currently saved on a shared company server.) Without trying to get in deep and mess around with the company settings for my PC, is there any kind of reasonable work-around to export or save e-mails (without having to individually save thousands of e-mails from a couple of hundred folders?). I can't find a workaround, but maybe someone knows a trick I don't know.     - Outlook font sizes changing on sent mail Hi We're having a problem were occasionally fonts will just randomly change on sent messages. I've been researching this online for an hour or so and there seems to be a few other people that have seen it, but without an answer. The issue is that you'll write an email, and once it's sent the font's just randomly change size (from 10pt to 12 pt and back). The issue seems to happen more after bold text (ie, if you get a bold word then the font is more likely to increase). We're using outlook 2003 (all latest updates) and SBS2003 with all latest updates. The emails are written in HTML without word as the editor. Stationary is set to <none>. Signatures are off - they're added by Exclaimer later. This has only just started in the last six months or so, some previous posts have suggested it occurs only after installing IE7.     - SharePoint contacts will not sync with Outlook I have been using Outlook to display a contact list from a SharePoint site. It all worked well until I deleted the list from Outllok recently.     - New Messages Still Not Showing Up in Inbox I'm sorry to keep posting about this same topic; but, I still need help. I am running Outlook 2007 on a Vista machine. The mail configuration is POP3. I also have Business Contact Manager installed. When I receive new mail, the status bar in the lower right of the Outlook window shows that mail is being received, and it shows its progress. I sometimes see the white envelope icon (indicating mail being received) in the task bar area of Vista, and other times an icon appears for a split second before disappearing. After the mail has been received, the status indicator disappears in the lower right hand corner of Outlook. There is no icon indicating new mail in the task bar area of Vista. Also, the mail does not show up in the Inbox. If I leave the Inbox by going to another folder, such as Junk E-mail, and then go back into the Inbox, the new mail is displayed. What I have noticed is that if I close out of Outlook, and later restart it, mail that I had left on the server may download again (creating duplicate copies of the same email). Generally after that happens, email that is received afterward will show up as a new mail icon in the taskbar, and the mail will automatically show up in the inbox. (When I shut down and restart Outlook, or shutdown and restart Vista, sometimes Outlook will work properly with respect to new mail, and sometimes it won't.) I don't have any idea how to troubleshoot this problem. I am questioning everything from Windows Search to Business Contact Manager. I have run the scanpst.exe utility twice. The first time it was run problems were detected and corrected. The second time there were no errors. I created a new profile, too. I would really like to put an end to this problem.     - Moving messages When I try to move messages the message that pops up is: "Can't move the items. The item could not be moved. It was either already moved or deleted, or access was denied." The item is clearly still in outlook in one of the subfolders in Personal Folders, is NOT deleted, so the only thing I can think is "access is denied". Can someone explain how to fix this?
