I am trying to do normal searches in my emails and contacts in Outlook 2007
and it is not returning any data for me. I have tried rebuilding my indexes
and restoring the defaults and nothing seems to work. I am seeing errors in
my Application log.

Robert,

I tried everything in the article and I am still having the issues. I even
unchecked all my seach options in Outlook for the PST files I use and even
when I rebuild and reset the defualts I am still seeing the application
error in the event log. It appears there is something wrong with the Vista
Search itself and maybe not so much something in Oulook. Is there a to
completely remove the search and then re-add it? Not sure if that would do
it either. What are your thoughts?

I couldn't find a way to just reinstall Search in Vista. If you create a new
mail profile and put in some data, does it get indexed then or do you still
get errors?
